Who runs this campaign
Ageplayers Against Censorship is a campaign by the Center for Online Safety and Liberty (COSL), supported by Liberato. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact route on COSL’s website.
Endorsing through Action Network
The endorsement form is provided by Action Network. If you submit it, Action Network processes the details you enter for COSL, together with technical and action-tracking information. Email and country are required by the form; name and postcode are optional. You may use a pseudonym. Do not include sensitive personal accounts in the comments field.
COSL uses the information to record and verify endorsements and understand support for the campaign. Campaign reports may include totals and anonymised summaries. COSL will not publish your contact details or supply your email address with any petition delivered to decision-makers. Identifiable endorsements are retained while needed for campaign administration and accountability; you may contact COSL to request access, correction or deletion, subject to any applicable obligations.
Loading the embedded form connects your browser to Action Network, which may use cookies and technical information. Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Read Action Network’s privacy notice. A transactional acknowledgement may be sent when you endorse. Email subscription defaults are unchecked on campaign links; existing Action Network subscriptions are not automatically cancelled.
The COSL newsletter is separate
The newsletter button takes you to COSL’s existing MailPoet subscription page at c4osl.org/newsletter. You enter your email and subscribe there, then confirm by email. This campaign site does not collect newsletter email addresses or import them into MailPoet. Campaign participation does not subscribe you to that newsletter. Subscription and unsubscribe requests are handled through COSL’s newsletter system.
Writing to your MP
This site provides a suggested letter and a link to Parliament’s official MP lookup. You send your own message through your MP’s chosen contact route. This site does not collect the address you provide to your MP or send the letter on your behalf. External sites have their own privacy practices.
Experience submissions are not open
We are not yet accepting personal accounts or evidence through a campaign form. Before opening that action, we will explain who can access submissions, how they are received and retained, and how permission for anonymised quotation works. Do not send explicit material or sensitive personal accounts. We do not promise absolute confidentiality, anonymity or legal privilege.
Website operation
The hosting and email services may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and timestamps to operate and secure the site. WordPress uses cookies for administrator authentication. The custom theme adds no advertising analytics. Action Network’s embedded services are described above.
